Green Lane Dental Is Happy To Accept Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Step #1: Eligibility
To inquire about your eligibility for coverage, please visit canada.ca/dental or call 1-888-537-4342 for the CDCP call centre.
Step #2: Enrolment
Enrolment Dates (as of March 2025):
- Aged 65 or older: Now
- Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate for 2023: Now
- Children under the age of 18: Now
- Aged 55 to 64 years old: May 1, 2025
- Aged 18 to 34 years old: May 15, 2025
- Aged 35 to 54 years old: May 29, 2025
Please note that CDCP clients must renew their coverage annually. If you are currently enrolled in CDCP, you will need to renew your coverage before June 1, 2025.
You will need to file your 2024 tax return and receive your notice of assessment before starting the renewal process. Please visit canada.ca/dental or My Service Canada to complete the renewal application online. You could also call 1-8333-537-4342 (TTY: 1-8333-677-6262)
Step #3: Schedule your appointment
Please remember that this is not a free dental program. Depending on your adjusted family net income, patients may have to make a co-payment of up to 60%. You will also have to pay costs the CDCP does not cover.
The CDCP does not cover all dental services. Before starting any treatment, ensure you understand your dental care costs. Please let us know if you plan to use CDCP benefits so that we could advise you of your approximate out of pocket costs prior to your visit.
Lastly, bring your CDCP insurance card or your renewal letter to your appointment.
